"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
—Matthew 6:34 (NIV)
In this verse, Jesus speaks directly to our human tendency to be consumed by worry. Our minds often drift toward the future, analyzing potential outcomes and fearing what may or may not happen. Yet here, Jesus calls us back to the present. His words remind us that each day carries its own set of challenges and that we are equipped to handle today—not tomorrow. Worrying about the future is often fruitless, as it distracts us from the work, blessings, and opportunities that are right before us. Christ invites us to surrender our worries and to trust Him with our future. Instead of being paralyzed by what may come, we are free to live fully in the moment, trusting that He will provide for us, just as He always has. When we let go of tomorrow, we find peace for today. Let this verse remind you that God is already in your tomorrows, and He will carry you through each one as they come.
